Say Uncle is a comedy about two people, both faced with the loss of family, who are unable to see beyond their own perceptions of the world. As Paul becomes more and more desperate in his search to replace the lost child in his life, Maggie grows increasingly fixated on her notion that Paul is a pedophile. These two characters, both operating with blinders on, are bound to collide.

This "not-quite-black" comedy addresses our fundamental ideas about what is appropriate and inappropriate, what makes family, what it means to be gay in a world where anyone different is considered at the very least -- suspect. Say Uncle is a movie about perception - and the audience goes along for the ride. The central character, Paul, is likable but behaving oddly, while the antagonist, Maggie, is largely unlikable but operating under the same perceptions you or I might have. Whose side are you on? Say Uncle forces you to choose, again and again, with comic relief along the way.
